Super T is good as an alfresco refreshment, and at over twice the strength of ordinary Tennents, it's the only beer in the Tennents range worth thinking about. And it's Scottish too.
But Special Brew is better by miles. Those Danes really know how to make a superlager. |

| Winston Churchill washed down a bottle of brandy with a bottle of champagne before he gave his rousing battle cry speech "we will fight them in the fields" etc. When, shortly before visiting Denmark,he declared "Danisk Beer Is The Piss of Pussies",the head of the Carlsberg brewery,Sigrid Olfsenn ordered a "Special" brew for the old English bulldog. Look how its popularity has pread! |

As a fan of the good old Spesh, I just wanted to say well done on a great site! I thought I'd send it now as I'm on my second can of Brew, if I leave it any later I won't be able to type and I'll have forgotten what I was supposed to be doing anyway.
I would say one thing about the review of the Brew, though. Your reviewer says that it is not the choice of tramps. As a regular street drinker in Reading, I would say that me and my fellow pissheads are split 50-50 on Diamond White/White Lightning, and Brew/Tennant's, with the majority of us lager drinkers drinking Brew. If you count the empty cans outside the Sally Army hostel (there's a little courtyard where you can chuck them before you go in) the Brew is especially well represented. And a lot of my cider drinking fellow tramps say they actually prefer the Brew, but as it costs anything from 20p to a quid more per can, the Giro dictates what they choose to drink
Also, do you have a contact addy for that excellent site Arrys? I tried the link but it doesn't seem to work
